Intolerance to religion

I’ve decided to take offence at the latest Philadelphia ads where one angel is portrayed as a promiscuous ladette out on the town being warned to be careful about not making any more “cherubs”.

Angels in my religion and in any other that I know are direct messengers and agents of God, not horny mythical deities spreading their seed or appendages for carnal satisfaction.

If we are to claim Christianity with any degree of sincerity, It’s time we objected to this type of advertising. It’s not innocent fun. It is a deliberate insult to anyone who is in any way religious.

Though we may not be inclined to react in an extreme measure, we should at least acknowledge that this atheistic and/or heathenish approach to advertising is improper and to be vilified.
