Fifty paces in, he noticed that the canopy was not quite as dense as it appeared from even near distance and that the refreshing aromatic shade was interspersed with blinding shafts of sunlight. He scratched his ass. It nickered, causing him to wonder how it had found him, since he clearly remembered tethering it to a stake in the meadow. Sweeping the area with a suspicious scowl he assured himself that he was alone, and bit deeply into the double Max-cholesterol banquet burger.

    • Sorry, not yet, so many pies not enough fingers. I hope that isn’t interpreted as crude. It will sit in a little grower-pot at the back of my mind until it germinates into a longer story.
